March 4th, 2020

There aren’t many things your pupils can’t do in and around St Ives. From surf lessons to painting workshops. From visiting the Eden Project and Lands End to St Michael’s Mount and the Minack Theatre. It’s a superb place for a school trip.

St Ives is a brilliant, year round destination for schools. Experience the power of the Atlantic in all its glory in the winter and enjoy the beaches and coast path in the summer.

School trips for all ages

St Ives is safe, secure and easy to navigate. It’s an opportunity for all students, no matter how young, to experience some independence in a town where everyone can take their foot off the pedal.

Primary school pupils through to University students can get an enormous amount out of a school trip to St Ives; whether it’s art inspiration, the feeling of being immersed in the moment during a surf lesson, discovering an ability to walk further than expected along the coast path or just being wowed by sights like the Atlantic Ocean on a sunny day (summer or winter!).

School trips with a difference

Do something completely different with your class – a beach clean with Beach Guardians, a kayaking tour with St Ives Surf School or a sand sculpture workshop on the beach with artist educator Greg Humphries.

St Ives offers the opportunity to give students a completely unique experience.
