St Ives has some of the best fishing grounds in the UK with clear water and masses of mixed species.

Sam Narbett has been fishing in Cornish waters since he was 15 and is a wealth of knowledge and experience on your trip. Guests at Cohort get 10% off all fishing trips.

We work with and recommend Bluefin Charters who are based in the heart of St Ives, just a short walk from Cohort. They are a highly experienced and fun crew and run 3 different types of fishing trips:

Find Mackerel, Cod, John Dory, Red Gurnard, Scad, Pilchards and Haddock on this short fishing trip with all equipment included. No previous experience necessary.

Wreck & Reef Fishing

This the most popular fishing trip and a great introduction to deep sea fishing in Cornwall. Common fish caught are Cod, Pollack, Haddock, Ling, Gurnard and John Dory. All equipment is included and if there’s a decent sized group it’s possible to charter the boat privately.
