Kitesurfing in Cornwall is exhilarating and with some of the best kitesurfing beaches in the world is not to be missed
If you want to try something a bit different then you’re in the right place…
Kitesurfing is a wind powered surface watersport using a kite and a board to move across the water; it harnesses the power of the wind through a large parachute type kite to propel a rider across the water on a small surfboard or a kiteboard.
Although the name includes surfing, kitesurfing does not need waves, the wind is the only force needed to power you along. With the large range of conditions to ride in, whether ‘surfing’ in the waves, going for big jumps, taking out a GPS for a speed records, learning a new freestyle trick or on a long distance adventure kitesurfing never becomes boring or repetitive.
The Hoxton Special are based out of the former Life Guard Hut in Marazion and the cost of your lesson includes the use of top branded wetsuits, boots and gloves.
All courses follow a structured path that everyone can follow, teaching you all the kitesurfing skills you will need in order to kitesurf all over the world. Lessons are divided into 3: I want to try it; I want to ride; I want to do tricks so just pick the one that best suits your skill set or talk to them about the best one for you.
