St Ives Film & Doc Society: 13th November 2018 @ 20.00 [main lounge]

To mark the centenary of the Armistice and dedicated remembrance to those who fell in WWI we are showing the new short film Cornish Tommies created by Falmouth University students which tells the story of an 18 year old Cornish miner called up in 1917. This is followed by our main feature, Journey’s End a British film which tells the story of a group of British soldiers awaiting their fate in an Aisne dugout during the end of WWI.

If you visit and join our closed Facebook group you can find out more as due to licensing we are not allowed to reveal too much on our website.

[St Ives Film & Documentary Society is a local film society which takes place on the second Tuesday of every month at Cohort Hostel, St Ives. We will be showing independent films and documentaries from around the world which aim to excite, challenge and inspire. This is in conjunction with CFylm, the Cornish Film Club Network.]
