Your stay at Cohort is important to us and our staff are there to help. Take full advantage while you're here and ask them as many questions as you can think of.
In order to minimise risk of COVID-19 transmission at Cohort we are temporarily suspending sales of all single, dorm beds.
At the moment it is only possible to book a private room for between 1 and 6 people. If you are travelling as a group everyone must be adhering to all government guidelines around social mixing and arrive together.
We have 4 rooms available for single / twin occupancy, 1 double room, 1 room for up to 4 people and 3 rooms for up to 6 people.
We are situated in the centre of town and you can see from this MAP that we’re not exaggerating. We’re within a few minutes walk to all St Ives’ 5 beaches, the SW coast path, the Tate, the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden and over 50 bars, eateries and galleries.
We have all number of FACILITIES to make your stay everything you want it to be from (free) Superfast WiFi to bag storage to a bar/lounge area and enclosed courtyard where you can keep your bicycles and boards.

If you are interested in booking on behalf of a group please get in touch with us via phone or email; we offer extras for groups of 10+ including breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal options which cannot be booked online.
Outside of the summer season we also offer group use of the hostel which is very cost-effective if you have a group of 35+.

We welcome families of all shapes and sizes however there are a couple of things to note:
(1) unfortunately we cannot accept children under 3 years old
(2) we welcome all kids 3 years+ however if you are travelling with children aged 11 years old or under we do require you to be in a room on your own as we do not allow children under this age to be in public dormitories.
When booking please ensure you book out a private room, family room or large private room if there children under 12 years old in your party. If you are unsure of anything just give us a call or drop us a line, we’ll get back to you ASAP.
There’s a great, chilled out NIGHTLIFE in St Ives, ask us for our top tips when you arrive although if you’re planning on going clubbing you’re probably in the wrong place (no clubs here)!.
November – February (inclusive) the hostel is open for advance bookings only. Reception is not automatically manned during this period.
Please do not arrive without a booking which you can make online.
30th December – 2nd January: We are open to all and reception is open 8am – 11pm.
Most restaurants are open all year round, as are the shops, cafes and galleries. It’s still St Ives just not as you know it.
