Reception

Open 8am – 11pm daily; our Reception Wizards at Cohort love St Ives and are keen to share their top tips and locals’ secrets with you. Just ask.

Cafe & Lounge

Relax or socialise in the main lounge. We have a simple selection of local beers, ciders and ales along with soft drinks, hot drinks and snacks. We are a licensed premises and so only alcohol bought at our cafe can be consumed in the lounge.

Free tea & coffee

Before 10am every morning. Join us in the main lounge for a pick-me-up to start your day.

Superfast WiFi

Available throughout the building; our broadband is fibre-to-the-premises and there are no annoying black spots.

Board games

We have a great selection of board games and card games in our lounge. Ideal for whiling away an hour or so and very popular with our younger guests.

Luggage store

We do not have secure luggage storage at Cohort however you’re welcome to leave our bags in an area of our lounge if you’re arriving before your room is ready or leaving later than the check out time. Your luggage is left at your own risk.

Alternatively there is a secure luggage store at the Tourist Information Centre a few doors down from Cohort, the cost is £6/item. This available from Mon – Sat.

TV / Movie Room

Accessible 24/7, chill out and relax in a quiet side room off the main lounge. The TV has all the Freeview channels plus Netflix.

Table football

We have a full size table football, undercover in our courtyard and it’s just £0.50/game.

Printing

Ask reception if you need to print off boarding passes, tickets, etc. we are happy to help free of charge.

Fully equipped kitchen

Microwaves, toasters, pots & pans, cutlery, crockery, you need it – we’ll have it. The kitchen is open 7am – 10pm.

Courtyard & Dining room

Chill out in the courtyard, it’s just outside the kitchen so the perfect place to eat: We also have a small dining room which seats around 10 – 12 people should there be a drop of rain or you’d rather be indoors.

Outdoor shower

We have a HOT shower in the courtyard so you can hose down yourself, your wetsuits and boards.

Wetsuit drying

We have various places to hang wet suits in the courtyard, these are all undercover. We also have racks for drying out wetsuit boots, hoods and gloves.

Laundry

We have a washing machine for guest use; it is coin operated and single use washing powder bags can be purchased from reception for £0.50. Its £1 for a 30min wash or £2 for a 60min wash.

Dry room

We have a dry room by the laundry specifically for drying off gear that has got wet on your travels, this will predominantly be walking boots, waterproofs, outdoor clothes, etc. It is not for wet suits.

Storage for bikes & boards

We have secure storage in the courtyard for your bikes and boards (surf boards, body boards, etc.). Padlocks are not provided, please bring your own if required.

Showers & Toilets

There are two single sex shower blocks at the front of the building consisting of 3 male and 3 female toilets & showers. There is a unisex shower / toilet block in the second building which has 3 showers, 3 toilets and a separate, disabled toilet facility.

All of the private rooms and some of the dorm rooms have a cold water hand basin in the room.

Towel, padlock & pillow hire

We do not provide towels but you can hire them from reception for £1.75/towel. Please note that these towels are only for use in the building and not to be taken outside or to the beach. A £7 holding deposit will be added to your account and deleted when the towel is returned.

Each bed has its own storage facility which requires a padlock, if you do not have your own then you can hire or buy one from reception. They are £2 to hire (+ a £3 holding deposit will be added to your account and deleted when the padlock is returned) or £6 to buy.

Each bed has one pillow, if you’d like an extra one pillows are available to hire from reception. £2 to hire with a £7 holding deposit.
