While COVID isolation laws are still in operation all our bookings are on a free cancellation basis; you do not pay a deposit and you can cancel / rearrange dates up to Midday the day before arrival free of charge.
When you make a booking you will be asked for the first night’s accommodation per bed space as a deposit, this is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
You can cancel your stay without further charges if notice is given to Cohort Hostel at least 24 hours prior to 12.00 hours (GMT) on the arrival date, i.e. if you are due to arrive on 24th you can cancel up to Midday on 23rd with no further charges.
In the event of a no-show or failure to cancel the booking by this time we charge your card the full cost of your booking.
You can make amendments to your booking at any point up until Midday the day before the booked arrival date; all amendments are subject to availability.
Once you have arrived at Cohort and paid the balance of your booking in full there will be no refunds if you decide to shorten your stay.
If you would like to extend your booking please tell us as soon as you can to make sure we can fit you in. In some instances it may be necessary for you to change rooms although we will do our best to avoid this.
We do not allow open ended bookings. If you need to amend the dates of your booking you will need to know what dates you would like to change them to otherwise we will treat it as a cancellation and you will lose your deposit. You can move your booking to another date within 3 months of the original arrival date or up until 31st October of that year; whichever comes first.
Amending the dates of your booking is subject to availability. We aim to be flexible and will change it if we can however if the dates you require aren’t available and you need to cancel there will be no refund of your booking deposit.
We expect all our guests to keep abreast of government guidance during the pandemic period. When you arrive if it is found that your booking breaks the current laws we reserve the right to refuse your reservation and a refund will not be given.
If you are unsure please feel free to get in touch with us or check the government guidance around meeting people here.
If your booking is for a number of people please contact us to request all being in the same room; we will endeavour to keep groups together but cannot make any guarantees.
You are required to pay the remaining balance of your stay on arrival.
We accept cash (sterling) or cards at the hostel. Payment by cheque, postal order or foreign currency will not be accepted.
We accept Visa (debit & credit), MasterCard (debit & credit), Switch and Maestro cards. We do not accept AmEx or Diners cards.
