When you make a booking (online or over the phone /email) you will be asked for the first night’s accommodation as a deposit, this is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
You can cancel your stay with us up to Midday the before the booked arrival date with no additional charges. In the event of a no-show or failure to cancel the booking by this time we will charge you the full cost of your booking.
We will ask to pay the remaining balance of your stay on arrival.
We accept Visa (debit & credit), MasterCard (debit & credit), Switch and Maestro cards. We do not accept AmEx or Diners cards.
There are no charges when using your card at the hostel, nor is there a minimum spend when using your card.
We do not offer a cashback facility at the hostel but there are a number of cash points nearby.
We welcome children 3 years old and upwards.
If you are aged under 16 there must be at least one responsible adult (over 21) per group. If you are travelling with a child 10 years old (3 – 9 years) then you must book either a private room or take a whole dorm to ensure minimum disturbance to other guests.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to groups and individuals not adhering to these age requirements. In this instance the full cost of the stay would be charged.
We will require each person who stays with us to have some form of photographic ID (e.g. driving license, passport, etc.) as we have a bar on site. This does not apply to children (under 16).
If you are booking on behalf of a group of 4 or more people you will be asked on arrival to supply card details which will be held as a bond against accidents, loss of key cards or damages until your departure; no money will be taken unless deemed necessary. If you do not have card details to give us then £20 cash deposit per person will be required. This will be signed for and handed back to you on departure.
We will also ask for full contact details (including a mobile number) of a nominated / named person for the group and this will be the person we will liaise with should we have any questions or queries before or during the group’s stay.
