Rooms & Rates

In line with government guidance we are temporarily suspending sales of all single, dorm beds.

At the moment it is only possible to book a private room for between 1 and 6 people. If you are travelling as a group everyone must be adhering to all government guidelines around social mixing and arrive together.

We have 4 rooms available for single / twin occupancy, 1 double room, 1 room for up to 4 people and 3 rooms for up to 6 people.

Location & Getting to Us

Right in the centre of St Ives within a few minutes walk to all the beaches

We are super easy to get to, whether you’re coming by train, bike, bus or car. See our GETTING TO COHORT page for more details and please plan your PARKING in advance.

We are situated in the centre of town and you can see from this MAP that we’re not exaggerating. We’re within a few minutes walk to all St Ives’ 5 beaches, the SW coast path, the Tate, the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden and over 50 bars, eateries and galleries.

Facilities & the Gallery

We have great FACILITIES to make your stay everything you want it to be from (free) Superfast WiFi throughout the building, to free bag storage pre-check in and after check out, to a bar, to a TV area, to an enclosed courtyard where you can safely store bicycles, boards and wet suits.

Organised Groups

From Surf Societies to Walking Groups

St Ives is an ideal group destination as there are a huge variety of activities on offer along with shops, cafes and beaches all within a few minutes walk of each other and Cohort. It’s a compact, safe and secure option for youth groups through to faith based groups, through to university societies and we are perfectly located for walking groups and cyclists.

Our accommodation is ideal for any sized group and we are happy to help you plan your itinerary and organise your food.

Families

We welcome families of all shapes and sizes

Cohort offers family friendly accommodation in the heart of St Ives. We are within easy walking distance of everything in St Ives, even for little legs. Get to all 4 beaches, the SW Coast Path, St Ives Surf School and Tate St Ives within a few minutes.

When booking please ensure you book out a private room, family room or large private room if there children under 12 years old in your party. If you are unsure of anything just give us a call or drop us a line, we’ll get back to you ASAP.

St Ives Nightlife

Nightlife in St Ives is Chilled with a capital ‘C’

There’s a great, chilled out nightlife in St Ives and it’s forever changing.

Ask us for our top tips when you arrive although if you’re planning on going clubbing you’re probably in the wrong place (no clubs here)!

St Ives is great for live music (every night in the summer), sundowner cocktails, beach BBQs, sunset hikes, roof terraces, friendly bars and pubs, al fresco dining and beers on the beach.

Winter Opening

We are open for individual bookings March – October + the NYE period

November – February (inclusive) the hostel is open for advance bookings only. Reception is not automatically manned during this period.

Please do not arrive without a booking which you can make online.

30th December – 2nd January: We are open to all and reception is open 8am – 11pm. We get very busy at this time so again, please don’t arrive without a booking.

Most restaurants are open all year round, as are the shops, cafes and galleries. It’s still St Ives just not as you know it.
